Located in the heart of West Hollywood, the West Hollywood Remodel at 1123 N Flores St is a comprehensive renovation project that showcases our commitment to transforming spaces with meticulous attention to detail. The scope of work involved various aspects, resulting in a complete overhaul of the property.

The demolition phase included removing approximately 850 sq ft of tile, 400 sq ft of carpet, kitchen cabinets, appliances, countertops, a 4' wall facing the stairs, complete master and guest bathrooms, kitchen drop-down soffit, existing closet doors, bathroom doors, and tile from the fireplace.

​

The framing stage involved precise work, including the installation of shower pan dams, shampoo niches, blocking for hot mop, new door frames, a pony wall in the guest bathroom, blocking for drywall on the raised kitchen ceiling, and framing for a fireplace insert. Additionally, new doors and a retrofit window were installed as per the customer's specifications.

In terms of plumbing, extensive relocations and updates were made, including kitchen sink and fridge waterline relocations, gas line relocation for the stove and fireplace, drain relocations, and the installation of new shower valves, angel stops, and p-traps in the master and guest bathrooms.

​

The electrical phase included running electrical lines for recessed LED lights, switches, outlets, under-cabinet lighting, TV insets, and dedicated lines for appliances. Additionally, new shower fans and sconces were installed.

​

Drywall, patching, and painting were executed to provide a smooth finish throughout the apartment. This involved smoothing out ceilings, applying level 5 smooth texture to bathroom walls, patching drywall as needed, installing new drywall in the kitchen ceiling, and prepping walls for primer and paint. Baseboards, door moldings, and the complete unit were also painted.

For flooring, the slab was thoroughly cleaned before installing hardwood flooring in the bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, and hallways, covering approximately 1,000 sq ft. The hardwood flooring was carefully installed using hardwood glue for a durable and stylish finish.

​

Countertops and backsplashes were custom fabricated based on templates taken after cabinet installation. The same material was used for the countertops and backsplash, ensuring a cohesive and elegant look. A sink top was also fabricated for the master bathroom.
